Workplace Investigations

When situations arise that are complex, involving sensitive issues, senior people, or the organisation’s HR team, an external investigator may be required. Sometimes internal investigators aren’t available, or a situation calls for an experienced and independent party with no prior involvement.


We have the experience and expertise to conduct workplace investigations with a thorough, fair, robust, and timely approach consistent with our values.


  • We are adept in dealing with complex and challenging issues where there is often conflict. 
  • We have experience or working with a wide range of organisations, with requirements to act within established governance frameworks and existing policies and procedures. 
  • We work positively with trade unions and other staff side forums, board level executives and colleagues across an organisation, encouraging trust and willingness to participate. 
  • We understand UK employment law, and management best practice, and in cases requiring legal input can work with existing advisors or engage legal support as needed. 
  • We are based in the UK, with contracting and secure files sharing adhering to GDPR. 
  • All investigations are supported with supervision, and client reports quality assured.  


In cases where broader issues of staff engagement, culture, leadership and management, or HR practice are identified, we can also offer a range of onward support.
